Perfect Day on the Water – Highly Recommend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an amazing private boat tour with Cobalt in the Cayman Islands. From start to finish, the experience was seamless – Graeme was a pleasure to work with, incredibly communicative, and had everything perfectly set up for us.

Our crew, Noah and Kyle, were both friendly and knowledgeable, creating the perfect island vibe. They took us to the most beautiful spots on a crystal-clear day, and we got to experience the sting rays up close and enjoy some of the best snorkeling we’ve ever done – it was an absolute dream. The whole day felt like a true escape.

They were especially wonderful with our 5-year-old son, even letting him take the wheel of the “pretty girl” for a bit in the open water – a moment we will never forget!

Personal, luxury charter perfect for our family We took a Sunday morning private charter to Sting Ray City, starfish point, turtle watching and Caibo for lunch. Andrew and John were wonderful guides and provided history insight and fun. Traveling with a differently abled traveler, Andrew and John were flexible supportive thoughtful and made sure we had a great experience at our pace. I can’t recommend them enough! Great day!

Absolutely Awesome! Travis and Graeme are safe, attentive, knowledgeable and fun. With such a large group, they did a headcount every time we got back in the boat. All the kids held and/or kissed stingrays at Stingray City. They held the world’s slowest competition amongst the starfish at starfish point. They were able to see all the colorful fish of a big aquarium up close and personal while snorkeling. I would (and will) recommend the Cobalt Tour company to everyone who asked.

One of the best experiences on Grand Cayman Travis and Graeme were terrific. Both were very knowledgeable, friendly and provided a relaxing, fun and informative tour. Best charter in the Caymans My sister and I went to Bio Bay to see the amazing bioluminescent plankton. Steve was our guide. He picked us up at our hotel and he was so knowledgeable and explained everything really well. We are both seniors and he was very kind and helpful. He even took photos for us. We thought he was awesome and we quite enjoyed his British accent! The owner of the charter company was very quick to respond to all of our inquiries. We had a wonderful time and if you chose this company you will be very pleased!

Swimming with the stingrays! This tour was incredible! We took our almost 3 year old and both Lars and Noah were great! You could really tell how much respect they had for the stingrays as well!

Best day on the water This charter for our family of four was the highlight of our trip. Kyle and Noah went above and beyond to ensure a perfect afternoon on the water. They were helpful and knowledgeable and got everyone in the water holding stingrays with ease. Noah captured great pictures of the family as an added bonus. Our charter also included a fabulous snorkel stop over the reef, a stop at Rum Point, and starfish point. We will be back and I would definitely book with cobalt charters again. Weather can’t hold this group down Excellent! 10 out of 10! Customer service remarkable. Kyle and Noah were friendly, fun, personable, and knowledgeable. The weather tried to spoil our outing but with this wonderful team the weather did not succeed. The winds were tough and created difficult boating and swimming conditions. We opted to tough out the winds and we are so glad we did. We were unable to safely swim with the Stingrays but were able to enjoy starfish point and Kaibo for lunch. It was a great day and truly Kyle and Noah made it such. Don’t consider any other group. This is the group you want to go with time and time again! Thanks for a fantastic day!

Exceptional Customer Service We were in Grand Cayman during a week that the island was experiencing unusually strong winds and rough water and unfortunately we had to cancel our reservation with Cobalt Custom Charters as the weather did not improve enough for us to go. However, I still felt I should write a review to highlight the exceptional customer service and communication we received from the company. They kept us informed every day of the weather and tried each day to reschedule our trip. They were so apologetic about having to cancel and they issued a full refund. We will definitely book with them next time we're in Grand Cayman!

Incredible Family Expirence We absolutely loved our experience with Kyle and Noah. They were both super professional, they were extremely knowledgeable of the island, sea life and had us laughing for the entire trip. Even though it was a little windy, we were able to enjoy everything that was asked for, Stingray City, Starfish point, Snorkeling Cayman reef and lunch at Kaibo beach club. Amazing time!! We rented two boats for our group of 15 to go to Bio Bay. It. Was. Incredible. Our captains were fun and personable but also full of knowledge. It felt like hanging out with friends. The boats were beautiful, the night sky was breathtaking, and our swim in the Bio Bay was one we won’t forget! We could not have asked for a better experience. Thank you!!!

Family with 3 daughters ages 12, 17 with Down Syndrome, and 19-- and 3 80+year old grandparents. I had several very thorough emails from Graeme before our arrival-- and updates on the conditions as we got closer. He explained the best day to see the Bioluminsence Bay related to the full moon-- so we booked it. We met our captain Marcel and his crew Noah at Camana Bay at 5pm for our four hour trip which included stops at Stingray City, the reef for some snorkeling, Starfish Beach, and Bio Bay. Marcel was so knowledgeable -- taught us so much about the rays and the star fish and the area. It was a joy. They took really good care of us. They told us as we boarded that Bio Bay was not glowing as brightly recently-- and offered to adjust our trip last minute with refund of an appropriate portion of the price, but we decided to see whatever we could. The trip was the highlight of everyone's week. Noah took about 300 photos of our family on the trip which they sent to us the next day-- photos of us feeding the rays, holding the rays, and even kissing the rays. It was educational, fun, and an adventure. We would do it again with Cobalt in a heartbeat. Even our grandmother who was pretty terrified of the open ocean and the boat loved it and felt safe with Marcel and Noah who kept things moving on our trip. We felt in great hands. When we needed another recommendation for diving later, they were quick to respond with multiple excellent suggestions.

Exceptional experience! Kyle and Noah were exceptional. Their knowledge is incredible and not only is it a relaxing, easy going, thoroughly enjoyable trip, you learn so much too.
There were a few that were nervous in our group and the guys made them feel totally comfortable, explained everything in just enough detail to put minds at ease and ensured we all had a great time. Considering the cost of some of the commercial charters I can't recommend this highly enough.
Speeding out to sting ray city with your own music playing on the boat, wind in your hair, chilling out. And then to swim with the rays, snorkel the reef and see the starfish. Perfect Day in the best Caribbean Island - Grand Caymans!! Kyle and Noah were great tour guides, laying out options to avoid the crowds and handle the high winds. We were able to enjoy run point and seeing several stingrays without being overwhelmed with people and stingrays. And saw beautiful starfish and learned more about the area.

Best stingray city and starfish point tour guides! The tour was great and Marcel and Noah were fabulous tour guides! They were very knowledgeable in explaining the history around Stingray City, sharing details about stingrays and starfish, and all around great tour guides. The boat was brand new and their snorkel gear was great. We couldn’t stop speaking about how this tour was one of our favorite things we did on vacation and that was mainly in part to Marcel and Noah.

Fantastic, fun adventure! My 20-something children and I had a great time on our private charter with Cobalt. It was recommended to us by our friends who are locals. We went out for the 4 hour afternoon tour and it was a beautiful way to end the day with the sunset, luminescent cove, and a star lit ride back to the dock. Jon and Noah were excellent tour guides. Jon gave us so much information about the Cayman waters, stingrays, starfish, and luminescent origins. When I could not go snorkeling with the kids, Jon was happy to jump right in and take them around the reef. My daughter wanted to get back out there to stingray city the next day! Although the kids are still waiting for their playlist ranking (joking!) we all agreed the Cobalt tour was an excellent addition to our trip.

Best charter to Stingray Bay on the island! This was our second year with Cobalt Charter, because it was so worth a repeat experience! Last year we came as a family and did the three hour tour of Stingray Bay, snorkeling at Rum Point and looking at starfish at Starfish Point. This year was my daughter’s graduation gift to come back and do it again! She will be a Biology major, so our awesome captain, Lars, went into more of the science details of the stingray and starfish biology, and mangrove forest ecosystem. All were truly fascinating and such a one of a kind Caymanian experience. The day was a little rough water, so Graham had notified us beforehand to see if we would like to rebook and let us know if we were uncomfortable, we could request to turn around at any time. However my daughter and I are adventurous and didn’t mind the bumps and waves and it added to the fun. One thing we really appreciated and loved was that At Starfish Point, our Captain noticed tourists from another tour were lifting the starfish out of the water and taking photos with them on their heads, etc. He had already taught us that these animals stay alive by circulating seawater through their bodies much like our blood system, and taking them out of the water causes air bubbles to enter their system and they will eventually die. Lars went over to the other tourists and asked them not to do what they were doing because of this. The previous trip we didn’t see the Mangrove forest, but this time we did and I’m so glad. It was a nice calm and relaxing end of the day and we were amazed at how interesting the mangrove ecosystem was. Absolutely the BEST tour of Stingray bay in the island! This was especially made a realization after seeing the other tours out there with overcrowded boats and the guides not really caring how the tourists treated the sea animals. Would love to come do it all again in a heartbeat!

Amazing time with my family My family and I had an absolutely incredible experience with Cobalt Custom Charters. In three hours we went snorkling over beautiful reefs, stopped at a shallow beach populated by starfish, paused for a delicious mudslide, and hung out at Stingray City. Graham and Travis were incredible captains - they were genuine, good-natured, and friendly guys who were truly passionate about showing us a good time. It truly felt like a special, and custom tour, and we were all so impressed by the dedication they put into their work.

The captains were very knowledgeable about the island, the animals, and the ecosystem and I learned a lot about Cayman. They frequently took candid photos of our group on a couple different cameras (including an underwater one) - they delivered the photos a few days after, and they were such an awesome takeaway from the trip. AMAZING I can not say enough positive things about this entire trip. From the moment it was booked the communication from Graeme was on point! No question left unanswered. Travis was such a polite, knowledgeable and courteous driver. Lars and Marcel were the absolute best guides ever! Our family of 4 adults did Stingray City, Snorkeling and Starfish Cove. We were able to feed, hold and pet the stingrays. We had Pancake (the stingray) all to ourselves so we got to hold and feed her multiple times. Went to a more secluded snorkeling area that the larger groups could not get too, which provided us with amazing coral and fish. At Starfish Cove we sat and held the starfish with barley anyone else around. Lars and Marcel are super friendly, knowledgeable and so down to earth. They made our time with them fly by. Spend the extra money you will NEVER regret it!! My adult boys (20 and 22) said this was the best ship excursion we have ever done!! Their recommendation for lunch at Rackam's did not disappoint either. Thank you Cobalt Custom Charters for helping to create such lasting memories for us!! Amazing Evening on the Boat I want to thank you so much for this whole experience. It was nice to be able to customize the outing to what we wanted to do. Noah and Kyle were amazing captains who created an exceptional experience for us. From the minute Kyle picked us up at the hotel to the very end of the night. All of it was fantastic! We all enjoyed learning about Cayman Islands, the stingrays, the starfish, bio-Luminescent Bay and other facts they shared with us. Beautiful morning on the water! We had a wonderful morning with Noah and Marcel! Getting early to the stingrays was key as it was getting very busy when we were heading out. They were friendly, timely and knowledgable during our time together. I was feeling unwell and they were accommodating to get me on some stable land for a few minutes to regroup while the rest of our party snorkeled. Amazing private lux experience We spent an afternoon with Cobalt. They took us to an amazing snorkeling location, after that, we took a quick break for drinks at kaibo, then to starfish point where we chilled and waited for stingray city crowds to thin out. We finished the afternoon swimming with and feeding the stingrays. They are very conscious of the wildlife and gave us tips to enjoy everything without harming the environment. The guys, at my request, took the boat nice and slow so my daughter would not get freaked out. I can not express how great the guys were, it was like being on the water with old friends. It did not cost much more than going on a big tour, and the attention to detail and friendly service was worth every penny. They answered all my emails, took all my calls, and made sure we were all set to have a great experience.
5 were in party, did not feel cramped on the boat. This was our second trip to GC and this was the best part of both trips. Cheers guys, and congrats on running a great business.

Floating Birthday and Rays My husband booked a 1/2 day tour with Cobalt for my 60th. We had 4, my 2 adult sons and hubs and I. I cannot express how much fun this day was. Marcel and Lars were perfect hosts and so incredibly knowledgeable about the stingrays, reefs and other locations we visited. Every ray had a name and a story. It was a bit rough so after SRC and snorkeling at the reef, we opted for calmer waters. We visited Rum Point and were so lucky the Pirates Grill Wing boat was there and we got the last dozen wings, delish! We then cruised through the calm mangrove forest and again, Marcel is a wealth of knowledge and we learned so much. Somehow my husband missed the photos that Lars sent the next day and we just opened. How awesome to have a personal photographer with you all day too! Can’t recommend enough. Best part of our trip to Grand Cayman I had neglected to book any activities before we came to Grand Cayman and was disappointed to find almost everything sold out. I found Cobalt Custom Charters by chance....it was the best meant to be! From the moment we stepped on the boat Travis and Graeme made us feel like family...they are so personable and we enjoyed spending our 5 hour charter with them. They took us to Starfish Point and made sure my kids got to see and hold starfish. We then went to Stingray City in the late afternoon and we were the only people out there as all the other operators were gone for the day. We spent about an hour swimming with 30-40 stingrays and got to feed them. It was fantastic!!! But the day wasn't done yet...we headed over to Kaibo Yacht Club for a quick dinner (yum!) while we waited for the sun to set. When the sun started going down we headed for the Bioluminescent Bay. The guys provided us with snorkel equipment and flotation devices to swim in the bay (it is only about 5 feet deep) with the billions of dinoflagellates lighting up as we disturbed them. It was one of the coolest things we ever did. I had a list of things I wanted to do on this trip and Cobalt Custom Charters helped me do most of them....bucket list checked off! We enjoyed this charter so much that we booked them later in the week for some reef fishing, which was also fantastic! They were so good with our family and especially my 6 year old son. My boys are still talking about this trip. I recommend this company 100% and the next time we come back to Grand Cayman we will be back on this boat!

Fantastic morning My family of 4 just returned from an outstanding morning with Cobalt Custom Charters. We spent last Friday am with Lars and Marcel who were excellent hosts and crew. Going to stingray city and snorkeling on a private boat is a much better way to interact with the stingrays and they put you on some excellent secluded snorkeling locations. Both provided useful information about the local area, flora, and fauna. Drinks are provided although we brought a few extra snacks ourselves. Lars took many wonderful photos that were sent via email a day or two later. The pickup and transfer from the hotel was seamless. I would definitely recommend this excursion and will try to go again next time in Cayman.

What an exceptional charter! Booking was easy, communication was fantastic, and the charter itself was absolutely perfect. Steve (our captain) picked us up on time and took us to the dock where we met our first mate Ferrick. I couldn't have picked a better pair of people to take us on our 4 hour charter if I tried. We first stopped at Stingray City (of course), then a little snorkeling at the reef, then off to see the starfish (so very cool), and finally a trip through the mangroves. At every single stop, Ferrick was a walking encyclopedia of entertaining information that made each experience even better. Both he and Steve added so much more to the charter just by being themselves. I've booked many charters in many locations, but this one was my favorite. I highly recommend Cobalt.

Fantastic Charter on a Beautiful boat! Had an amazing charter with Cobalt Custom charters. Stingray Reef was fantastic along with the snorkeling and Starfish point. Boat was beautiful and well maintained and the Co Captains couldn't been nicer guys. Will definitely do this again when we come back to Cayman!

Private boat charter with family and kids Highly recommend Cobalt Charters. Excellent experience on a 3hr private charter to Stingray City, Rum Point Snorkeling, and Starfish Point. Our group consisted of two children (2&5yo), two 30yo's, and four 60yo's. Johnny & Kyle made sure everyone was comfortable, safe, and having fun. They were extremely knowledgeable of the island and wildlife. Very informative and memorable experience we won't forget. They took extra care to make sure our 5yo was comfortable enough to hold and feed the stingrays. For what it's worth, they also gave us a refund during COVID when we had to cancel our trip and Graeme is very responsive to email with. Would definitely book with them again.

An incredible time with Cobalt Custom Charters Simply amazing. That’s the only way to describe our time with Cobalt Custom Charters! Literally, every aspect of the experience was outstanding. Marcel and Noah were SUPER friendly, professional and knowledgeable. They were there to assist us at every step of the journey. During our time at Stingray City, Marcel taught us about the rays, helped us to hold a few and made us feel at ease. Our snorkeling visit was really great and we felt safe the entire time.

Finally, our time at Starfish point was relaxing, educational and the perfect way to cap off a great few hours.

If you are looking for an incredible chance to really get up close and personal with rays, a reef and starfish, Cobalt is your best bet. Marcel and Noah made this one of the highlights of our vacation.

BioBay evening in Grand Cayman Visiting for a family wedding, we were treated to a wonderful trip to BioBay one evening. The whole event was fun - lovely ride in the evening and swimming in bioluminescence water. Marcel was out captain and did a great job with safety, explaining what we were seeing, and just being fun!

Private boat We had an absolutely fantastic experience on our private boat tour with Steve and Ferrick. From the moment we stepped on the boat, they made us feel welcome and completely taken care of.

They are both incredibly kind, professional, and genuinely great people. You can tell they truly enjoy what they do and want everyone on board to have an amazing time. The entire trip was relaxed, fun, and perfectly organized.

They took us to beautiful spots, made sure we were comfortable the entire time, and were always attentive without being intrusive. It felt like spending the day on the water with friends who know all the best places around the island.

If you’re visiting Grand Cayman, I highly recommend booking a tour with them. It was easily one of the highlights of our trip and an experience we’ll remember for a long time.

Best experience ever! Highly recommend. From start to finish, this was amazing. All my questions about were promptly answered and very accommodating when customizing our tour. The crew was fantastic; making sure we were all comfortable and shared their wealth of knowledge throughout. Our 4 hr private tour included stingrays. snorkeling, a sunset, stop for dinner and bio bay. Best tour ever!

Magical moments framed in Cobalt We did two trips with Cobalt - one to bio bay and one to sting ray city. Both were well organised in advance by the team; a few easy to access emails and our trip was in the diary. Then on the days we were collected from our hotel in a clean and tidy taxi style car which whisked us to the dock. The boat was a Boston whaler beauty. Our experience was very special on both trips with different captains. Bio bay is literally magical. The sting rays at sting ray city a chance to touch and encounter nature in ways which we simply don’t enjoy back home. Tremendous memories.

Outstanding experience Our hotel concierge sent us several recommendations for private charter companies. I read reviews for each and was surprised there wasn't a single negative review for Cobalt. How can one company make every single guest happy? Well, I'm here to write another positive review. We spent the day with Lars and Marcel who exceeded our expectations. They were patient with our daughters who were a bit hesitant to swim with the stingrays and initially struggled with the snorkel gear. They blew us away with their knowledge of the marine life and ecosystem. Their love and passion for what they do is evident and it truly made our time with them the best day of our vacation. Great guides, great day, great experience Graham did an excellent job of recommending a great day in our time frame- Marcel and Jon were great guides - chill , informed, kind, good tunes ( hubby says I must include that) .the stingrays were amazing and the guys took great pictures of each of our kids holding the stingray w no surprise fee (like the dolphin bay). Family day on the water with Stingrays and Starfish Amazing half day charter with Cobalt yesterday. Kyle and Andrew were incredibly warm and shared tons of really interesting information about each stop we visited. Our daughters (5 and 7) learned a lot about stingrays, starfish, and how to thoughtfully interact with wildlife. We appreciated how professional and attentive they were to our comfort and safety. The whole Cobalt charter experience was amazing and we will definitely book a trip with them again.

Our favorite experience on our trip! These guys are absolutely the best! We booked them based off reviews and we’re so glad we did. From the get-go, there was great communication with the owners, helping coordinate all the details and answer any questions. The two guys that chartered our trip (Andries + Luke) were awesome; laid back, knowledgeable, and just made sure we had a great all-around time. Sure, you could pay less and go with another company...but I promise you won’t get the same experience you get with these guys. They cater to the type of experience you want, you never feel rushed, and they know all the tricks of the trade (we got an experience at stingray city and snorkeling where we were one of only a couple boats which is unheard of!) If you’re going to invest in an experience while in Grand Cayman, I highly recommend checking these guys out. We will definitely do another trip with them in the future :)

Great times has by all! We opted to take a private charter instead of one of the big group ones the cruise ship offered. The owner was very good at communicating prior to our arrival and the day of too. Marcel and Noah, the crew on the boat, were awesome! They took us to the three spots we wanted to go and each one they explained/shared details of where we were. They also shared information about the island. We were a party of eight with three adults, four teens and an 11 yo who all had a good time! I would definitely recommend this vendor.

5 STAR PRIVATE CHARTER This was an unbelievable experience and beyond our expectations! Cobalt Custom Charters kept in excellent communication from the time we booked our excursion to the start of it! Very accommodating! Our guides Marcel and Noah were so knowledgeable, friendly and interactive with our family getting everyone involved, we loved spending the afternoon with them! Stingray City Sandbar was breathtaking! Learning all about these amazing creatures you just simply fell in love with them, especially with Tattoo with her kisses! Snorkeling at Coral Garden near Rum Point was beautiful and while on the boat ride, Marcel and Noah pointed out Sea Turtles and even a Nurse Shark so we could view! Our final stop was Starfish Point where we learned and held these slow crawlers which are amazing in their own right! Even found a few jellyfish!

Amazing Experience I am not one to write reviews but felt compelled to share the wonderful experience. Graeme and Travis are one of a kind. They were knowledgeable, sweet, fun and made us feel safe at all times. My husband and teenagers (16 & 14) had an unforgettable experience swimming and kissing the stingrays, snorkeling and chillin with starfish! Must Do In Cayman! I can't say enough about Cobalt Charters. We were traveling with two families with a total of eight people all teenage daughters. We booked the bio tour one evening and the four hour stingray city tour a couple of days later. Bio tour - one of the coolest things we have ever seen and Marcel was our captain. Great guy who took care of everything. We highly recommend this trip. Stingray city - awesome morning with John and Andrew leading this excursion. Both guys were very personable and knowledgeable, and just like Marcel took care of anything we could think of. You can tell customer service is a priority with this company and it shows with everyone you meet. Starting with Graeme. He took care of all the bookings and was very responsive answering all my questions before and during our time at Cayman. I honestly can't imagine any other charter being better than our experience, and I recommend them to anyone wanting to enhance their Cayman vacation. Amazing day with professionals who tailored our experience to exactly what we wanted Cobalt is a well run operation from start to finish. Excellent communication throughout the booking and trip prep process, followed up with a great day. John and Kyle took us out and I cannot say enough good things. It was like going out on the boat with old friends who were full of knowledge about the island, marine life, and our options for the day. We had some wind and rougher seas than normal and they made us aware of the best options for our stops while still leaving the decisions to us. Their advice was spot on. Their briefings at each stop had us prepared for the best experience with safety at the forefront. The boat was beyond comfortable. I have some knee issues and boarding the boat was a concern but they made sure I was okay and assisted as needed. The stingray interaction lived up to the hype! We also had a snorkeling stop with plenty to see and starfish point did not disappoint. I was surprised by the amount of things we learned from our captains. They don’t just drop you off to look, they teach along the way. Even with the waves and current, at our snorkels stop they put us in exactly the right spot so we had a safety rope out and were really able to enjoy the marine life without concern. After dealing with some rougher than normal seas we decided to cruise through the mangroves. Again John and Kyle really went above and beyond giving us information about the ecosystem. We hadn’t considered the mangroves as part of our tour but I am so glad we had that experience.

Luxurious catamaran in the Caymans My husband and I had a wonderful trip with Cobalt Custom Charters on their very spacious catamaran. The boat was perfect for a relaxing day on the water. The crew was very accommodating and even provided towels and refreshments, squid to feed the stingrays and a whole digital photo album documenting our trip on the boat. The catamaran was so comfortable with two lavatories on board and a lovely netted lounge area at the front of the boat where you can lay over the water. We will absolutely be sailing with Cobalt on our next trip to the Caymans!

Best time, whole family loved it all! We had the best time and will come again every time we come to the Caymans! Marcel and Travis were knowledgeable, patient, kind and so much fun! Wonderful and Memorable Experience! Marcel and Luke were great guides, so informative, patient and very easy to interact with. Fantastic outing We had a fantastic, midday trip with Graeme and Travis, snorkeling and visiting Starfish Point. They were knowledgeable, professional, and patient with our family. They have taken the time to learn a great deal about their surroundings, and generously shared tons of information to make our day more interesting! Must try! Noah and Kyle were fun, informative, friendly and made our experience very special! The stingray experience was totally different and Kyle was so good in explaining details. Catamaran Tour with the Kids! We loved our 4 hour private boat tour with Cobalt Custom crew! We had three families (6 kids total) and staff was so patient and helpful. At one point, they even joked that us adults could go snorkel and they would babysit on board! We did the stingray city, a snorkel stop and then we talked with the guys and they came up with a great idea for the remainder of our time- they took us into Camana Bay for a gelato stop and a quick boat break for the kids. It was so fun and a beautiful mangrove entrance into the bay. You will not regret booking their services, for sure a highlight of our trip to Cayman Islands!
