Great family adventure feeding the stingrays, snorkeling and holding starfish Our grand daughter was going on her first snorkeling trip and, as we all know, if kids hate something the first time they pretty much are never going to do it again. So we researched who had great reviews working with kids and selected Cobalt. Graeme and Travis made it a fun adventure feeding and holding the stingrays, snorkeling in a beautiful spot that wasn't too deep it would freak out the kiddo but deep enough it had lots of fish. I swear the part she liked the most was holding the starfish and watching them slowllllyyy move. Thanks guys for making sure we will have many more snorkeling/ocean adventures with the family.

Grand Cayman MUST DO! 5 stars isn’t enough! Not one complaint. Crew were amazing and knowledgeable even with a 2 and 5 year old on board. So much more than just a 3 hour charter. They cater to what you want to do and when you want to do it. A lot of times you are on island time and with these guys they are on your time. If you are in grand cayman this is an absolute must do!

We went to Stingray City, snorkeling at Rum Point, and to Starfish Point. Lars and Noah did everything to make this a wonderful experience for our entire family. It was also great to have this experience with a private tour. We were able to touch and feed the stingrays and hold the starfish. They also provided historical information about the island. Best day on the water This charter for our family of four was the highlight of our trip. Kyle and Noah went above and beyond to ensure a perfect afternoon on the water. They were helpful and knowledgeable and got everyone in the water holding stingrays with ease. Noah captured great pictures of the family as an added bonus. Our charter also included a fabulous snorkel stop over the reef, a stop at Rum Point, and starfish point. We will be back and I would definitely book with cobalt charters again. Best charter to Stingray Bay on the island! This was our second year with Cobalt Charter, because it was so worth a repeat experience! Last year we came as a family and did the three hour tour of Stingray Bay, snorkeling at Rum Point and looking at starfish at Starfish Point. This year was my daughter’s graduation gift to come back and do it again! She will be a Biology major, so our awesome captain, Lars, went into more of the science details of the stingray and starfish biology, and mangrove forest ecosystem. All were truly fascinating and such a one of a kind Caymanian experience. The day was a little rough water, so Graham had notified us beforehand to see if we would like to rebook and let us know if we were uncomfortable, we could request to turn around at any time. However my daughter and I are adventurous and didn’t mind the bumps and waves and it added to the fun. One thing we really appreciated and loved was that At Starfish Point, our Captain noticed tourists from another tour were lifting the starfish out of the water and taking photos with them on their heads, etc. He had already taught us that these animals stay alive by circulating seawater through their bodies much like our blood system, and taking them out of the water causes air bubbles to enter their system and they will eventually die. Lars went over to the other tourists and asked them not to do what they were doing because of this. The previous trip we didn’t see the Mangrove forest, but this time we did and I’m so glad. It was a nice calm and relaxing end of the day and we were amazed at how interesting the mangrove ecosystem was. Absolutely the BEST tour of Stingray bay in the island! This was especially made a realization after seeing the other tours out there with overcrowded boats and the guides not really caring how the tourists treated the sea animals. Would love to come do it all again in a heartbeat!

Worth every penny! What a great experience and ride, Lars and Andrew were great, from the moment they picked-us-up at the hotel, through all the sites they took us to drop-off back in the hotel. If you are in doubt wether the bot tour is worth the money, please take my word for it, IT’S TOTALLY WORTH IT! Snorkeling at Rum Point was, to me, the best part of the day. It’s one of the most beautiful places I have ever dived in. Thank you guys. We’ll definitely be coming back.

Fantastic outing We had a fantastic, midday trip with Graeme and Travis, snorkeling and visiting Starfish Point. They were knowledgeable, professional, and patient with our family. They have taken the time to learn a great deal about their surroundings, and generously shared tons of information to make our day more interesting! AMAZING experience ~ Stingray City, Snorkeling, Wake-boarding, Fishing & Food This was the perfect day for us out in the water... Graeme & Travis made sure to fit in all of the activities our adventurous family loves! They took us first to Stingray City. We learned how to interact with & hold the stingrays. The boys had a blast!! And even though I’d been very reluctant at first, I even held one. It was truly unforgettable!
Then, we stopped to snorkel around the reef. Beautiful!
After this our 14-year-old wake-boarded followed by some fishing for our 11-year-old requested. : )
Graeme & Travis were wonderful tour guides ~ they took us to grab a bite to eat at Kaibo before returning. This beachside restaurant/bar was the perfect way to end the trip with awesome food & drinks!
Oh & throughout the day Graeme was even snapping pictures of our family to send us ~ a true added bonus to capture these priceless moments.

Great trip!! We had an amazing tour with John and Kyle! We saw stingray city, starfish point, stoped for a great beach dinner and then visited the bio bay. From the minute they picked us up until they dropped us back off the attention to detail was outstanding. We are a family of 5 with 3 girls ages 9, 14, & 16. They have varying degrees of bravery and Kyle and John helped each of them in exactly the right way. They didn’t even complain about the teenage girl music the girls played on the boat :)

Amazing Evening on the Boat I want to thank you so much for this whole experience. It was nice to be able to customize the outing to what we wanted to do. Noah and Kyle were amazing captains who created an exceptional experience for us. From the minute Kyle picked us up at the hotel to the very end of the night. All of it was fantastic! We all enjoyed learning about Cayman Islands, the stingrays, the starfish, bio-Luminescent Bay and other facts they shared with us. They also calmed my nerves before holding the stingrays which I was thankful for. Incredible Family Expirence We absolutely loved our experience with Kyle and Noah. They were both super professional, they were extremely knowledgeable of the island, sea life and had us laughing for the entire trip. Even though it was a little windy, we were able to enjoy everything that was asked for, Stingray City, Starfish point, Snorkeling Cayman reef and lunch at Kaibo beach club. Unforgettable Experience The Private Cobalt boat tour was an unforgettable experience. The crew was extremely safety conscious, making us feel completely at ease throughout the trip. Our guide was well-known and highly respected, sharing insider knowledge of the best snorkeling spots. We even had the rare chance to see some incredibly unique fish—truly a highlight of the trip!

Our group consisted of two children (2&5yo), two 30yo's, and four 60yo's. Johnny & Kyle made sure everyone was comfortable, safe, and having fun. They were extremely knowledgeable of the island and wildlife. Very informative and memorable experience we won't forget. They took extra care to make sure our 5yo was comfortable enough to hold and feed the stingrays. For what it's worth, they also gave us a refund during COVID when we had to cancel our trip and Graeme is very responsive to email with. Would definitely book with them again.

Amazing private lux experience We spent an afternoon with Cobalt. They took us to an amazing snorkeling location, after that, we took a quick break for drinks at kaibo, then to starfish point where we chilled and waited for stingray city crowds to thin out. We finished the afternoon swimming with and feeding the stingrays. They are very conscious of the wildlife and gave us tips to enjoy everything without harming the environment. The guys, at my request, took the boat nice and slow so my daughter would not get freaked out. I can not express how great the guys were, it was like being on the water with old friends. It did not cost much more than going on a big tour, and the attention to detail and friendly service was worth every penny. They answered all my emails, took all my calls, and made sure we were all set to have a great experience.
5 were in party, did not feel cramped on the boat. This was our second trip to GC and this was the best part of both trips. Cheers guys, and congrats on running a great business.

Great times has by all! We opted to take a private charter instead of one of the big group ones the cruise ship offered. The owner was very good at communicating prior to our arrival and the day of too. Marcel and Noah, the crew on the boat, were awesome! They took us to the three spots we wanted to go and each one they explained/shared details of where we were. They also shared information about the island. We were a party of eight with three adults, four teens and an 11 yo who all had a good time! I would definitely recommend this vendor.

Fantastic experience! Don't think twice, Cobalt is the right choice. My husband and I went to Grand Cayman for the first time, and since it was a short trip, we decided to take a private tour and do all key attractions at once.
Marcel and Johnny were incredibly knowledgeable and so much fun. They truly love what they do - seeing Marcel play with the stingrays made us so comfortable around them. Johnny took some great pictures and showed us the race of the starfish and how they can flip, so cool.
The boat was great, and Marcel and Johnny made everything look so easy and fun we didn't even mind the bad weather. We can't wait to come back and bring our children to see the stingrays and do the bio bay with these guys. Highly recommend them!

Our favorite experience on our trip! These guys are absolutely the best! We booked them based off reviews and we’re so glad we did. From the get-go, there was great communication with the owners, helping coordinate all the details and answer any questions. The two guys that chartered our trip (Andries + Luke) were awesome; laid back, knowledgeable, and just made sure we had a great all-around time. Sure, you could pay less and go with another company...but I promise you won’t get the same experience you get with these guys. They cater to the type of experience you want, you never feel rushed, and they know all the tricks of the trade (we got an experience at stingray city and snorkeling where we were one of only a couple boats which is unheard of!) If you’re going to invest in an experience while in Grand Cayman, I highly recommend checking these guys out. We will definitely do another trip with them in the future :)

Must try! Noah and Kyle were fun, informative, friendly and made our experience very special! The stingray experience was totally different and Kyle was so good in explaining details. Noah took great pictures and we loved seeing them. We hit rain on the way back but they made even rain like one of the kind experiences! Highly recommend this excursion to anyone who visits Cayman!

Great Grand Cayman excursion! You get a privately planned trip with owners that know the area. And being from Canada they were super friendly! After we left the boat we went to wait for the taxi that Graeme called for us. He noticed that were were still waiting for longer than the taxi company told him. He came up and called for us again. Now that's service!!!

Absolutely Awesome! Travis and Graeme are safe, attentive, knowledgeable and fun. With such a large group, they did a headcount every time we got back in the boat. All the kids held and/or kissed stingrays at Stingray City. They held the world’s slowest competition amongst the starfish at starfish point. They were able to see all the colorful fish of a big aquarium up close and personal while snorkeling. I would (and will) recommend the Cobalt Tour company to everyone who asked.

Bio Bay is a must see with Cobalt, Graeme, and Kyle! You must try the bio bay tour with Cobalt!! It was absolutely the most amazing thing we've ever seen!! It's like you're floating in fairy land! It's unreal!! You have to see it for yourself. It's worth it!! Graeme, the owner, recommended that we go the day after the full moon (instead of the day we wanted to go) and what a wonderful recommendation that was!! Because of that timing we got to also see glow shrimp too!! Which is a rare sight!! Our tour guide Kyle was absolutely fantastic!! Sooo incredibly knowledgeable, fun, patient, and such a gentleman the entire time!! 10 out of 10 recommend Cobalt, Graeme, and Kyle!! They will not disappoint you!!! From the time of booking all the way to the end of the tour, perfect the whole way through and they really show they love what they do and care about you as their customer!! 😊

One of the best experiences on Grand Cayman Travis and Graeme were terrific. Both were very knowledgeable, friendly and provided a relaxing, fun and informative tour. Family day on the water with Stingrays and Starfish Amazing half day charter with Cobalt yesterday. Kyle and Andrew were incredibly warm and shared tons of really interesting information about each stop we visited. Our daughters (5 and 7) learned a lot about stingrays, starfish, and how to thoughtfully interact with wildlife. We appreciated how professional and attentive they were to our comfort and safety. Best day ever! Truly an incredible experience - Our hosts, Noah & Kyle were so much fun to spend the day with - they asked what we wanted to do and delivered the perfect experience for our family! We started at Stingray City, traveled to Rum Point for an amazing snorkeling experience and finished off the day at Starfish Point. Stingray City excursion Capt Marcel and Andrew took us on an amazing trip to Stingray City to swim and interact with the giant sting rays. Then we snorkeled an amazing, living coral reef with tons of fish and even an eel. We then made a trip to Starfish Point where we were able to hold lots of starfish and swim with tarpon. These guys are super knowledgeable and made our trip with them one of the best excursions we have ever experienced.

Best charter in the Caymans My sister and I went to Bio Bay to see the amazing bioluminescent plankton. Steve was our guide. He picked us up at our hotel and he was so knowledgeable and explained everything really well. We are both seniors and he was very kind and helpful. He even took photos for us. We thought he was awesome and we quite enjoyed his British accent! The owner of the charter company was very quick to respond to all of our inquiries. We had a wonderful time and if you chose this company you will be very pleased!

Perfect Day Our cruise ship arrived at 7 and we took a water shuttle to the dock. We boarded a taxi which cost $9 per person from Spots Beach to the Yacht Club. Marcell and Graeme met us at the Anchor store, then we boarded the boat and headed out to Stingray City. Marcell and Graeme educated us about the stingray as we held, kissed and fed the stingray. It truly was a once in a lifetime experience. We then snorkeled off of Rum Point over the beautiful reef. Lastly, we headed over to visit Starfish Point where we saw young and older Starfish. From booking to the actual excursion, it was a seamless process. Graeme and Marcell are top notch guides and very passionate about the Island and all the sea life. Highly recommend using Cobalt custom charters!

Fantastic, fun adventure! My 20-something children and I had a great time on our private charter with Cobalt. It was recommended to us by our friends who are locals. We went out for the 4 hour afternoon tour and it was a beautiful way to end the day with the sunset, luminescent cove, and a star lit ride back to the dock. Jon and Noah were excellent tour guides. Jon gave us so much information about the Cayman waters, stingrays, starfish, and luminescent origins. When I could not go snorkeling with the kids, Jon was happy to jump right in and take them around the reef. My daughter wanted to get back out there to stingray city the next day! Although the kids are still waiting for their playlist ranking (joking!) we all agreed the Cobalt tour was an excellent addition to our trip.

Catamaran Tour with the Kids! We loved our 4 hour private boat tour with Cobalt Custom crew! We had three families (6 kids total) and staff was so patient and helpful. At one point, they even joked that us adults could go snorkel and they would babysit on board! We did the stingray city, a snorkel stop and then we talked with the guys and they came up with a great idea for the remainder of our time- they took us into Camana Bay for a gelato stop and a quick boat break for the kids. It was so fun and a beautiful mangrove entrance into the bay. You will not regret booking their services, for sure a highlight of our trip to Cayman Islands!

Exceptional Customer Service We were in Grand Cayman during a week that the island was experiencing unusually strong winds and rough water and unfortunately we had to cancel our reservation with Cobalt Custom Charters as the weather did not improve enough for us to go. However, I still felt I should write a review to highlight the exceptional customer service and communication we received from the company. They kept us informed every day of the weather and tried each day to reschedule our trip. They were so apologetic about having to cancel and they issued a full refund. We will definitely book with them next time we're in Grand Cayman!

Best Part of our trip Hands down, the best part of our vacation was the snorkeling trip. Jonathan and Andrew were excellent guides and hosts. They had great knowledge of the sea life and the area. We went snorkeling with stingrays and atwo other snorkeling spots during our private half-day trip. Don't hesitate to book this if you're looking for a private snorkeling trip! In addition, booking was easy and was picked up and dropped off promptly.

Do not miss this excursion! The trip was amazing. Our captains of the boat where Andrew and Steve . They were so knowledgable and sincere. Both were passionate about their island and went into great details about the sea life and nature at each of our stops. They were very patient with needs of the members of our group. They created an adventure just for us. We could not have be happier with this trip.

Amazing trip! Cobalt custom charters is the way to go! Booking with Graeme was effortless & communication was excellent. Lars & Marcel were top notch guides and tailored the trip to our interests. We fed & held the stingrays, Lars got tons of great pictures, saw some cool fish while snorkeling, handled the starfish on the point, and swam in the wonder of bioluminescence bay. The charter was enjoyable right down to the playlist on board & a perfect sunset!

Best charter trip! Kyle and Noah were exceptional! Most of us on the charter had been to stingray city in the past, but we all agreed this was by far the best trip we had! We learned so much more about the rays and history of Grand Cayman. And our time on the charter was catered specifically to us and what we wanted to see and do. We can't thank Kyle and Noah enough for such a fantastic day! They really went the extra mile for their guests.

Amazing day with professionals who tailored our experience to exactly what we wanted Cobalt is a well run operation from start to finish. Excellent communication throughout the booking and trip prep process, followed up with a great day. John and Kyle took us out and I cannot say enough good things. It was like going out on the boat with old friends who were full of knowledge about the island, marine life, and our options for the day. We had some wind and rougher seas than normal and they made us aware of the best options for our stops while still leaving the decisions to us. Their advice was spot on. Their briefings at each stop had us prepared for the best experience with safety at the forefront. The boat was beyond comfortable. I have some knee issues and boarding the boat was a concern but they made sure I was okay and assisted as needed. The stingray interaction lived up to the hype! We also had a snorkeling stop with plenty to see and starfish point did not disappoint. I was surprised by the amount of things we learned from our captains. They don’t just drop you off to look, they teach along the way. Even with the waves and current, at our snorkels stop they put us in exactly the right spot so we had a safety rope out and were really able to enjoy the marine life without concern. After dealing with some rougher than normal seas we decided to cruise through the mangroves. Again John and Kyle really went above and beyond giving us information about the ecosystem. We hadn’t considered the mangroves as part of our tour but I am so glad we had that experience.

Wonderful Experience The boat was comfortable. Views were amazing. The crew went above and beyond to make our experience special. Pleasantly surprised that photos were taken for us during the excursion so we could just relax and enjoy ourselves. We had a great time. Would recommend to others.

Private charter to Stingray City/Starfish Point We had a great morning visiting Stingray City, Starfish Point and snorkeling with Marcel and Andrew with Cobalt Charters. It was a highlight of our trip! Friendly and knowledgeable and a beautiful boat. They take pictures and share them after the trip too. Highly recommend!

Private boat We had an absolutely fantastic experience on our private boat tour with Steve and Ferrick. From the moment we stepped on the boat, they made us feel welcome and completely taken care of.

They are both incredibly kind, professional, and genuinely great people. You can tell they truly enjoy what they do and want everyone on board to have an amazing time. The entire trip was relaxed, fun, and perfectly organized.

They took us to beautiful spots, made sure we were comfortable the entire time, and were always attentive without being intrusive. It felt like spending the day on the water with friends who know all the best places around the island.

If you’re visiting Grand Cayman, I highly recommend booking a tour with them. It was easily one of the highlights of our trip and an experience we’ll remember for a long time.

Unforgettable Memories Had an unforgettable experience! Graeme, Marcelle and Johnny treated us like royalty. We went to stingray city, snorkeling, Rum Point for appetizers and drinks, bioluminescent bay and polished it off with a nice cruise back under the stars.

Must-do boating activity while in Grand Cayman We had 3 couples out for an evening cruise, stop at starfish point and bioluminescence bay in March on a birthday trip. The boat was great, the crew was knowledgeable, the pick and drop off service was flexible and accommodating and we had a great time. Would recommend!

Fantastic! From start to finish, our charter was fantastic! Our party of five - ages 12 to 71 - all agreed this was the highlight of our cruise! The staff was outstanding - patient, knowledgeable and personable, and went above and beyond to make this a special day. Before booking, I hesitated about the cost and nearly just booked an excursion with our cruise line. As I watched folks on larger boats and looked at the smiles on my family’s faces, I was so glad I trusted my instincts and put us in Cobalt’s hands - it was worth every penny. Excellent day Noah and Kyle guided us through an awesome day. Great boat for our family of 5. Private. These guys are top of their class boat guides - will make sure you have a great day. From pickup to drop off it’s zero stress. We hit sting ray city, snorkeling at rum point, had lunch at Kaibo, starfish stop and then back to the dock. These guys were great to hang out with making the experience outstanding.

Must Do In Cayman! I can't say enough about Cobalt Charters. We were traveling with two families with a total of eight people all teenage daughters. We booked the bio tour one evening and the four hour stingray city tour a couple of days later. Bio tour - one of the coolest things we have ever seen and Marcel was our captain. Great guy who took care of everything. We highly recommend this trip. Stingray city - awesome morning with John and Andrew leading this excursion. Both guys were very personable and knowledgeable, and just like Marcel took care of anything we could think of. You can tell customer service is a priority with this company and it shows with everyone you meet. Starting with Graeme. He took care of all the bookings and was very responsive answering all my questions before and during our time at Cayman. I honestly can't imagine any other charter being better than our experience, and I recommend them to anyone wanting to enhance their Cayman vacation. Marcel, John, and Andrew, thanks for two fun trips and taking care of our daughters! They had a blast.

Weather can’t hold this group down Excellent! 10 out of 10! Customer service remarkable. Kyle and Noah were friendly, fun, personable, and knowledgeable. The weather tried to spoil our outing but with this wonderful team the weather did not succeed. The winds were tough and created difficult boating and swimming conditions. We opted to tough out the winds and we are so glad we did. We were unable to safely swim with the Stingrays but were able to enjoy starfish point and Kaibo for lunch. It was a great day and truly Kyle and Noah made it such. Don’t consider any other group. This is the group you want to go with time and time again! Thanks for a fantastic day!
